No serious incidents were reported on the night before polling day of the October 27 early parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, the Interior Ministry said.
There is no information about any public order violations which may have prevented the start of polling day at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
Bulgarians are voting to elect 240 members to the 51st National Assembly. These are the sixth early parliamentary elections after the regular vote of April 4, 2021. The previous snap elections were held on June 9, 2024.
