The voter turnout for the parliamentary elections on October 27 is expected at 31.1%, show the results of an opinion poll conducted by Gallup International Balkan at the end of the election campaign. Some 2 million votes are expected, with 3.4% of them probably going to be "None of the above".
The survey was commissioned by the Bulgarian National Radio. It was conducted among 1,007 respondents between October 10 and 21.
The opinion poll is a momentary photo of voters' attitudes registered several days before the elections, the pollsters underscore. The experts expect some changes to occur in the support for some of the political forces by election day due to factors such as part of the voters deciding whom to support at the finish line, the influence of various networks for mobilization on election day, the vote abroad, and others.
Gallup said that if the opinion of their respondents remains unchanged, 26.1% will vote for GERB-UDF. Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria will come second with 16.2%, followed by Vazrazhdane with 14.9%, Alliance for Rights and Freedoms with 7.9%, MRF-New Beginning with 7.6%, BSP - United Left with 7.1%, and There Is Such a People with 6.2%. Very close to the 4% barrier for entry in the next National Assembly are Morality, Unity, Honor (MECh) with 4.1%, Velichie with 3.8%, and Blue Bulgaria with 1.2%.
