BSP - United Left opened its election campaign in Plovdiv on Thursday, with coalition head Atanas Zafirov and Stand Up Bulgaria Chair Maya Manolova attending the event to support the list candidates in the city and region.
"The most important thing is for people to vote, so that there are no such coalitions as we witnessed, to stop the disintegration of the state and to stop the complete disgust with politics," Zafirov emphasised.
Manolova stated that she stood with a clean face in front of the people of Plovdiv, as together with them she led many the battles in the city. She was categorical that BSP - United Left will not enter into government coalitions with GERB-UDF and MRF.
Top-of-the-list candidate in Plovdiv Ivan Petkov cited the words of Georgi Dimitrov: "If you don't want to be an anvil, you have to be a hammer, while the leading candidate in Plovdiv Region Manol Genov noted that the party can achieve a very good result, with which it will have a greater parliamentary representation.
