Continue the Change (CC) co-leader Kiril Petkov opened the election campaign of Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) at the Square 500 National Gallery in downtown Sofia on Friday, calling for unity and care for Bulgaria.
CC-DB’s leaders shared their vision for the country's future with the gathered citizens. They highlighted that instead of distributing thousands of brochures, pens, and lighters, as part of CC-DB's campaign every supporter attending a campaign event will receive a sapling to plant and nurture to make Bulgaria greener.
Continue the Change (CC) co-leader Assen Vassilev noted that if the income growth rate from the past four state budgets continues, the minimum wage in Bulgaria will reach EUR 1,000 in four years. "We aim for wages comparable to those in Austria, Germany, and the USA," Vassilev said.
"We have a plan to lead Bulgaria out of the political crisis," DB co-leader Atanas Atanassov said. "This is the coalition that has the capacity to pull Bulgaria out of the political crisis," Atanassov added.
CC-DB floor leader Nikolay Denkov reflected on how, four years ago, CC entered politics with a few enduring dreams: a prosperous Bulgaria, happy citizens, and a future where Bulgarian children choose to stay in their homeland. He emphasized that CC-DB remains committed to these aspirations and believes in their success.
