site.bta19 Parties, 9 Coalitions to Participate in October Snap Elections
Nineteen parties and nine coalitions will participate in the October 27 early parliamentary elections, Central Election Commission (CEC) Chair Kamelia Neykova reported on Wednesday.
Three parties dropped from the elections, as they failed to register a ballot in any constituency. Those parties are VMRO-Bulgarian National Movement, Freedom and Dignity People's Party and VOLT.
On Tuesday, the CEC cancelled the registration of the National Movement for Rights and Freedoms to participate in the elections, as requested by Gyuner Tahir who represented the party.
The parties' and coalitions' sequential numbers on the ballots, as drawn by the CEC, are:
- Democrats for Responsibility, Freedom and Tolerance (DOST) Party
- Glas Naroden [People's Voice] Party
- Socialist Party Bulgarian Way
- Velichie [Grandeur] Party
- Bulgari Party
- My Country Bulgaria Coalition
- There Is Such a People Party
- Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Coalition
- Brigada Party
- Party of the Greens
- Pravoto [The Law] Party
- Vazrazhdane Party
- Alliance for Rights and Freedoms Coalition
- Bulgarian National Union New Democracy Party
- Bulgarian Union for Direct Democracy (BSDD)
- Blue Bulgaria Coalition
- Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) Party
- GERB-UDF Coalition
- Ataka Party
- The Truth and Nothing but the Truth People's Party
- Direct Democracy Party
- Free Voters Coalition
