Izmail Region in Odesa Oblast is under attack again. The Russians attacked the border with strike drones. As a result of the shelling, an administrative building was partially destroyed. A fire ensued, which was immediately extinguished by the forces of the State Emergency Service. This was reported by the chairman of the Odesa regional military administration Oleg Kipper.

Two people were injured as a result of falling debris on a private home, the regional governor said on Telegram.

According to his information, one person is hospitalized in moderately serious condition. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance.

Law enforcement agencies are fixing the consequences of another crime committed by the Russians against the civilian population in the Odesa region, Kipper reported.

For nearly two hours, from 00:08 to 02:00 hours, the towns on the Danube in the Izmail Region - Izmail, Reni, Vilkovo and Kylia - were attacked with drones.

The Bulgarians in Odesa Oblast number over 150,000 and are the third largest population according to the official 2001 census in Ukraine. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi regions.
