Wednesday offers good conditions for mountain hiking, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross said on Wednesday morning. Temperatures are around 10C and there is a light wind at higher altitude.

No incidents with hikers have been reported over the past 24 hours.

According to the weather forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, it will be mostly sunny in the mountains with temporary increases in cloud cover in the afternoon. There will be light to moderate east-northeasterly wind. The maximum temperature will be around 24°C at an altitude of 1,200 metres and around 16C at 2,000 metres.
