The Cameralia International Festival will take place from October 4 to 27, the organizers said.

The seventh edition of the festival includes four concerts, on October 4, 12, 15, and 27, held in partnership with the Sofia City Art Gallery, the Embassy of Spain, the Italian Cultural Institute, the National Music Academy, New Bulgarian University, and with BTA as the main media partner.

“At key venues in Sofia, music lovers will be able to enjoy these exceptional concerts, which offer an original palette of styles and a new concept of chamber music. This concept is based on the collaboration of musicians from different countries, united by their shared passion — the creation and experience of music across its diverse genres,” say the organizers.

The opening concert on October 4 will be a performance titled “Carissimo - Flamenco Magic”, featuring Spanish flamenco guitarist Juan Ramon Caro, joined on stage by Antonia Contreras (vocals) and Carmen Camacho (dance).

The second concert, on October 12, will mark the festival debut of the youth trio Assai, consisting of Georgi Raychev (violin), Todor Ivanov (cello), and Petar Dyulgerov (piano). The trio was selected for participation in Cameralia by Maestro Lyudmil Angelov during his chamber music workshop at NBU.

On October 15, the festival presents a performance by the chamber duo of Luisa Sello (flute) and Lyudmil Angelov (piano), with a program featuring works by Mozart, Doppler, Donizetti, and Franck.

The closing concert, on October 27, will feature the Big Band of the National Music Academy, with soloists Karendra Devroop (saxophone) and Konstantin Kostov (piano). The event will take place in the concert hall of the National Music Academy.

The Cameralia Festival is organized by the Piano Extravaganza Foundation. Alongside preparing the festival program, one of the foundation's key missions is the revival of global musical heritage by collecting rare music scores and performing them at the Piano Extravaganza Festival. The foundation’s founder and artistic director is Maestro Lyudmil Angelov.
