Three Bulgarian players will take part in the international badminton tournament in Farum, Denmark, from May 8 to 11. The Bulgarian entrants are national team members Dimitar Yanakiev, Kaloyana Nalbantova and Maria Mitsova.

Yanakiev will start in the qualifiers against Denmark's Sebastian Lassen Nielsen. Nalbantova, seeded No. 5 in the women's draw, will face Frederikke Jørgensen (Denmark) in the first round.

Nalbantova and Mitsova will also compete in the women's doubles, opening against Abigail Harris and Lizzie Tolman (England).
