site.btaBulgaria Attends Francophone Bazaar in Kuwait

The Embassy of Bulgaria in Kuwait together with representatives of the Bulgarian community took part in a bazaar of the Francophone countries, organized by the French Institute at the end of April, the Bulgarian diplomatic mission wrote on Facebook.

Within the framework of the cultural programme, the pupils of the Bulgarian Sunday school at the embassy presented Bulgarian folk dances.

Visitors to the bazaar had the opportunity to get a closer look at Bulgarian culture at a specially set up stand. Tourist attractions, souvenirs and handmade products by Bulgarian compatriots in Kuwait were presented.

The Bulgarian Sunday school with the embassy teaches Bulgarian language and literature, history and geography of Bulgaria; children learn to dance Bulgarian folk dances, and get acquainted with Bulgarian traditions. Classes are held in the Embassy building.
