site.btaTen Bulgarian Wrestlers Qualify for Semi-finals on Third Day of Dan Kolov Tournament

Ten Bulgarian wrestlers reached the semi-finals on the third day of the Dan Kolov - Nikola Petrov tournament, which is held in Varna. Two of them were in the men's freestyle and classic style - Georgi Ivanov in the 125 kg category and Abu Muslim Amaev in the 67 kg category.

Ivanov defeated Adel Bakar in the 125 kg freestyle, and in the afternoon session last year's Dan Kolov gold belt winner will meet American Jordan Wood. Abu Muslim Amayev, bronze medallist at the European Championships, on the other hand scored two victories without giving a point to his rivals. And in the semi-finals, he will meet Nikalas Sulev in the 67 kg category in the Greco-Roman style.

Antonio Hristov will also compete in the 67 kg category in the semi-final, against Haavard Joergensen from Norway. The all-Bulgarian semi-final is in the 60 kg Greco-Roman style: Borislav Kirilov and Nedyalko Petrov, and in the other bout on the way to the final Bozhidar Lazarov will play against Mohammad Ashiri from Iran.
