The conditions for hiking in the mountains are good on Monday, and the temperatures are higher than they were on Sunday, said the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) with the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC). The temperatures will be between -2C and 5C, with strong wing in the higher parts.

The ski facilities in the winter resorts are working. Tourists should approach avalanche danger zones with caution, the MRS advised.

Over the past 24 hours, mountain rescuers have helped a man who was injured in the area of ​​Elenino Lake near Malyovitsa. Eight rescuers took part in the operation. Mountain rescuers have also searched for a missing person in the area of ​​Marichini Lakes. The tourist has not been found.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecast a sunny day in the mountains with scattered high clouds and a moderate westerly wind. Highs: 10C at 1,200m, 4C at 2,000m.
