The hiking conditions in the mountains are not good on Wednesday, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) told BTA.

The weather is cloudy, foggy, with rain and snow showers. In the high parts of the mountains there is a snow cover, which is about 15 cm at the Aleko Hut in Vitosha mountain.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said that the weather in the mountains will be cloudy,  foggy, with snowfall and a  moderate north-northeasterly, south-southwesterly wind. Highs: 3C at 1,200m, 0C at 2,000m.
