Sports club Levski-Triaditsa organized a grand welcome for the Olympic silver medallist in the women's rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around competition, Boryana Kaleyn, here on Friday.
Dozens of children gathered in the schoolyard of Sofia's 47th secondary school to meet their idol and present her and her coach, Mariana Pamukova, with flowers and gifts. Kaleyn who had her silver medal on her let her fans take pictures with it.
Official guests at the celebration were the Mayor of Sofia Vassil Terziev, Deputy Mayor for Culture, Education, Sports and Youth Activities Yana Genova. Other attendees of the event included three-time World All-around champion Maria Gigova and the 2020 Summer Olympics Group All-around champion Madlen Radukanova.
