Bulgaria's top female tennis player Viktoriya Tomova dropped out in the semifinal of the WTA 500 tournament in Bad Homburg with a prize purse of EUR 802,237.
Tomova lost 0-6, 6-7 (6) to Donna Vekic in one hour and forty-one minutes.
Tomova played her second semifinal for the season after making the top four in Rabat in May.
From Monday Tomova will rank among the top 50 female tennis players in the world.
