A historic moment for Bulgarian football will take place on Wednesday, when a First Professional Football League match will be officiated by a woman referee in the country for the first time. Hristiyana Guteva has been appointed as chief referee for the 34th round match between Krumovgrad and Levski.
Guteva has been a FIFA listed referee for 7 years and has been officiating matches in the Second League of Bulgaria since then.
