site.btaBulgarian Kiril Kirov Makes 10m Pistol Final in ISSF World Cup in Baku

Kiril Kirov made it to the men's 10m pistol final at the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Bulgaria's best shooter last year gave a fifth-place qualifying score of 582 points, five less than leader Yusuf Dikec of Turkiye.

The other Bulgarian, Samuil Donkov, was 43rd with 573 points. 

The final featuring Kiril Kirov is scheduled for Saturday morning. 

In the women's 10m pistol, Antoaneta Kostadinova finished 17th. The Olympic vice-champion from Tokyo 2020, scored 572 points in qualification and failed to make the final.

The other Bulgarian representative Miroslava Mincheva remained 27th with 570 points.

The best result in the qualification was given by Austrian Sylvia Steiner with 581 points.
