Bulgarian athletes won a silver and a bronze medal on the first day of the European Taekwondo Cadets Championships 2023 in Belgrade.
Marina Mihailska became vice-champion in the 148 cm category after three victories. In the final the Bulgarian lost to Paraskeva Kalogirou (Greece).
Kristian Georgiev was ranked number 5 in the main draw in the cadets up to 152 cm, won two matches and took bronze.
