Bulgarian tennis player Iliyan Radulov qualified for the quarterfinals of the US Open boys' doubles championship on Thursday. He and his teammate Brasilian Joao Fonseca won 6-1 7-6(8) against Tianhui Zhang and Ti Zhou.

Radulov and Fonseca are the second seed in the draw. Their next match will be against Max Dahlin and Oliver Ojakaar.

Iliyan Radulov lost his first round match in the singles draw.

Meanwhile, Iva Ivanova and her teammate Sonja Zhiyenbayeva lost their second round match against Wimbledon winners Alena Kovackova and Laura Samsonova.
