Bulgaria Wins Team Title at World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships for First Time in 30 Years

Bulgaria’s gymnasts won the team title at the 40th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Valencia, the first such title in thirty years. The ensemble of Zhenina Trashlieva, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov, and Radina Tomova and individual gymnasts Boryana Kaleyn, Stiliana Nikolova, and Eva Brezalieva won Bulgaria a total of 330.150 points.

The Bulgarian athletes have thus won four titles in Valencia, after Boryana Kaleyn won two silver medals at the baton and ribbon finals, and Stiliana Nikolova snagged the bronze with her ball performance.
