Baku 2023 European all-around champion Boryana Kaleyn won silver medals in the baton and ribbon finals at the 40th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Valencia, Spain. Bulgaria has thus far three medals from the championships after late last night Stiliana Nikolova took bronze in the ball final.
The pupil of Mariana Pamukova showed great dance, technique and artistry in her ribbon composition and was awarded 31.850 points.
These are the first individual medals in Kaleyn’s career in her fourth participation at the World Championships. Thus, she gave herself a great present for her 23rd birthday, which she celebrated Thursday. In addition, she won a quota for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
