site.btaYoan Ivanov Wins Parallel Bars Gold at European Youth Olympic Festival

Gymnast Yoan Ivanov won a gold medal in parallel bars at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Maribor. In the final, the Bulgarian was unmatched and received a score of 13,900, which earned him first place.

Second with 13,800 was Ukraine's Ivan Rudyi while his compatriot Svyatoslav Shved finished third with 13,266 points.

Ivanov's title is Bulgaria's first at the European Youth Olympic Festival, which ends on July 29. Before him, Radina Velichkova took silver in the long jump in athletics, and Irene Saraboyukova  secured bronze medal in the high jump.
