Tokyo, July 31 (BTA special correspondent Dimiter Velyov) - The involvement of two times European champion Daniel Asenov of Bulgaria in the Tokyo Games came to an end after he was decisioned by Spain's Gabriel Escobar 4-1 (28-29, 28-29, 28-29, 28-29, 28-29) in the men's Fly bodyweight class (48-52 kg) Round of 16 here on Saturday.
"That was yet another disappointment. My punches were far more accurate, I was far more active, and I dominated the fight all the time. Yes, I did let some blows land, but mostly to the arms. My opponent crew were louder, and the judges were apparently biassed," Asenov commented. MY/LG
