Kiril Milov: "I Still Have a
Chance at the Bronze, but
I Hoped for Much More"
Tokyo, August 2 (BTA special correspondent Dimiter Velyov) - Bulgarian wrestler Kiril Milov still has a chance to win the bronze medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, but he had hoped to perform better at the men's Greco-Roman 97 kg event on Monday, where he lost in the 1/4 finals to Mohammad Hadi Saravi (Iran), who can wrestle Milov again in repechage for the bronze.
"It wasn't my day. I hope Saravi wins his next match, so I can have a chance at the bronze medal. If he loses, the Olympics are over for me," Milov said and apologized to all his Bulgarian supporters for letting them down.
