The topic of introducing the euro in Bulgaria is being talked about a lot, often by people who do not have enough information, Vratsa Mayor Kalin Kamenov said at an information event here Tuesday, part of the National Information Campaign on the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria.

"We are here together to dissuade even the biggest skeptics of the euro," he pointed out, stressing that no country has suffered from the adoption of the common currency, which is an incentive for a better life.

"If we want to be competitive in Europe, we need to be much more active with the products we create," Kamenov emphasized. He also pointed out that it is very important for institutions to work as a team in order to answer even the most uncomfortable questions.
