The readiness for a national protest against the non-competitive price of electricity for businesses was discussed by the Association of the Organizations of Bulgarian Employers (AOBE), whose members agreed to demand that the powerholders immediately resolve to continue compensating businesses for the high electricity prices in 2025. Otherwise, the employers threaten to organize national protest with the trade unions. 

The Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) assumed the rotational presidency of the Association of the Organizations of Bulgarian Employers (AOBE) for 2025 from the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists of Bulgaria (KRIB), BICA said on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
