Academic Cooperation in Black Sea Region to Be Dsicussed at Bulgarian Pavilion at COP29

Academic cooperation in research and teaching will be the focus of a discussion at the Bulgarian pavilion at COP29. The UN climate conference is taking place in Baku until November 22.

Sofia University is hosting the event, which will be attended by Dr. Marina Stefanova, Deputy Dean for Sustainable Development of the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University, Prof. Nikolaos Theodosiou from the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Prof. Abdalah Mokssit from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

The Bulgarian Ministry of Energy hosted a discussion earlier in the day on the transition to low-emission energy.

Events dedicated to the energy transition and the place of cities in regions are on the agenda of COP29.
