Dimitar Pavlov presents his exhibition "Letters and Nocturnes" at the Serdika Gallery in a renovated part of the Women's Market in Sofia. The exposition can be viewed from November 22 to December 14, the organizers said.

According to Pavlov, the 'Letters' series presents images that emerge from surfaces resembling sheets of paper.

"I titled my second series of works 'Nocturnes' on the one hand, because the works follow the minor scale in painting, the so-called 'quiet scale', which excites me greatly. On the other hand, the term "nocturne" is primarily musical, and music is the leading element of composition and inspiration in my paintings. Nocturne is a theme closely related to twilight and night - the quiet periods of the day that condition reflection and contemplation," says the artist.

Dimitar Pavlov was born in 1998 in Plovdiv. He graduated from the National Academy of Art, majoring in painting. He has participated in a number of exhibitions.
