site.btaNational Company Industrial Zones to Build Regional Centre for Digital Solutions and Innovations at Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park

The National Company Industrial Zones (NCIZ) under the Ministry of Economy and Industry will start the construction of a Regional Centre for Digital Solutions and Innovations on the territory of the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park, the line ministry said here on Monday. The project is worth BGN 6 million and the funds will be provided under the Research, Innovation and Digitization for Intelligent Transformation Programme, after the state company and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth signed a contract.

The term for building the digital hub is 36 months.

The goal is to build an innovative digital infrastructure that will serve the companies - investors in the park, as well as future entrepreneurs, researchers, innovators, scientists, citizens and the regional administration. The creation of a virtual reality laboratory will provide all users with the option for  3D laser visualization of buildings, machines and new products before their launch on the market, a testing before investment.

The project will stimulate innovation and the implementation of new technologies in work processes, increasing the technological potential of companies that use digital services.
