site.btaGovernment Approves BGN 125 Mln in State Aid for Farmers

The Government approved an additional BGN 125 million under the budget of the State Fund Agriculture for the so-called "Ukrainian aid" for farmers for 2024. The funds will be provided and paid to farmers by November 30, 2024.

The financial resource is allocated for the payment of part of the second tranche with a total value of BGN 325 million under state aid schemes.

On October 4, additional expenses were approved under the 2024 State Fund Agriculture budget in the amount of BGN 200 million. The funds were paid to farmers from primary agricultural production and producers of grain and oil crops.
