Tourism Minister Evtim Miloshev and Kyrgyz Ambassador here Idris Kadyrkulov, discussed ways to advance cooperation in the field of tourism, education and exchange of experience between the two countries, Miloshev’s ministry said.

"Bulgaria has a very well-developed structure of secondary and higher education institutions in the field of tourism, and I think this could be an object of interest for you. We have a lot to exchange in terms of experience. As much as Kyrgyzstan is interesting for the Bulgarian tourist, Bulgaria is also interesting for the Kyrgyz tourist," the Minister said.

Kadyrkulov also stressed that the Asian country wants to draw experience from Bulgaria in relation to the development of ski tourism, because a ski resort is currently being built at an altitude of 3,500 meters.

"We have great tourism potential and offer many different tourism products such as eco, spa, and medical tourism," Kadyrkulov said.

Minister Miloshev invited Kyrgyzstan to participate in the international tourism exhibition Vacation & Spa Expo from March 9 to 11 2025 in Sofia where tour operators from both countries can present their business platforms.
