For the first time, the Council of Ministers will fulfil its new obligation to set the minimum wage for 2024 by September 1, 2023, taking into account the average gross wage for a period of time covering the months of July-December 2022 and January-June 2023, the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) said on their official website, commenting on the amendments to the Labour Code voted on February 1.
