Talks in five languages at the guest exhibition Fake for Real of the House for European History will be held at the National Ethnographic Museum on the occasion of the European Day of Languages on September 26. Visitors will have a chance to listen to the guides' stories in Bulgarian, English, French, German and Romanian, the museum team said.

The day will begin with a talk in Bulgarian by curator Yulina Mihailova, who will talk about forgeries throughout history. Afterwards, tour guide Totjo Hristov will show the funny and scary sides of forgeries. Simina Badika (author and curator of Fake for Real) will introduce the audience to revolutionary ideas that were later proven to be forgeries. Curator Maria Bozhanova will navigate the maze of lies and half-truths with a talk in German. Simina Badica will then give a tour in Romanian that will get the audience "out of the vampire's bite of lies and falsifications," the museum team says. The event will conclude with tours by Simina Badica (in English) and by Totjo Hristov (in Bulgarian).

The guided tour is free, only the entrance fee is charged. Only limited visit spots are available and advance registration is required.
