The photographic exhibition "Architectural Peaks" will be presented at the National Anthropological Museum with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Experimental Morphology, Pathology and Anthropology. The exhibition, visiting from the History Museum in Oryahovo, will be on from September 19 to October 28, the organizers said.
The authors of the exhibition are Evgeni Dimitrov and photo journalist Stefan Markov. Nikolay Nikolov, a photographer from Oryahovo, also participates with his photos.
"Architectural Peaks" pays special attention to Prof. Dimitar Tsolov and Ivan Vasilyov, whose projects are defined as the peaks of Bulgarian architecture. The professional photographs present the artistic merits of some of their realized authorial ideas. These are the emblematic buildings of downtown Sofia, such as the St. Nedelya Church, the Bulgarian National Bank, the National Library, the University Library and the Balkan Hotel. They are complemented by the representative community buildings in Oryahovo and Vratsa, the organizers said.
