In a Facebook post congratulating the start of the school year, National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova said that education is the only guarantee for a better and dignified life in society.
Kiselova expressed hope that students would read books and not develop an addiction to screens and artificial intelligence, and to have time for exercise and sports and to be healthy. “Skipping class is not a healthy sport,” she added.
More than 2,300 schools in the country are opening their doors on Monday to welcome their students.
