site.btaGovernment Approves Draft Technical Agreement Related to NATO Allied Reaction Forces

The Council of Ministers Tuesday adopted a decision approving a draft Technical Agreement between the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) and the respective institutions of Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czechia, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, the UK, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkiye, and the USA on the establishment of an interim framework for the provision of host nation support to the Allied Reaction Forces (ARF). With the Technical Agreement, Bulgaria agrees to provide support as host country to the ARF.

With the Council of Ministers decision, Bulgaria confirms its commitments to provide host nation support to the Allied Response Force upon its activation.
