site.btaForeign Ministry Cooperates with Canada, Bulgarian Embassy in Beirut to Evacuate Bulgarians from Lebanon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported here on Saturday that the Situation Centre under it has cooperated closely with the Bulgarian Embassy in Beirut, Bulgarian and partner services, as well as Canada to safely evacuate Bulgarian nationals from Lebanon.

The Foreign Ministry continues its efforts to assist Bulgarian nationals and their family members who are trying to return to Bulgaria.

A government airplane flew the first group of evacuees, a total of 89 Bulgarians, on September 30. The second group comprised of another 80 people arrived the following day.
