The Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Coalition started its campaign for the October 27 early parliamentary elections with events in Vratsa, including a blessing-of-the-waters ritual at the St Nicholas Church and a happening.

Dozens of members of the public took the opportunity to talk with Ivo Tsanev, who tops the coalition's Vratsa list of election candidates, and other nominees. Writing on special message boards, people expressed their expectations and set their requirements for the politicians.

Tsanev said the agenda of the politicians should come from the people. He said the coalition will conduct a positive campaign, seeking dialogue and understanding, because the time vacuum in Bulgaria should be brought to an end.
