Milen Dimiev was appointed as Executive Director of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency (GCCA) by order of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, the Ministry said in a press release here on Monday.

Previous GCCA Executive Director Momchil Terziyski has requested to leave due to personal reasons and has been relieved of his position.

Strengthening the activities on the adoption of the cadastral map and cadastral registers, commissioning the production of new ones and full coverage of the urban territory of the country with a cadastral map are among the main priorities and tasks outlined by Regional Development Minister Violeta Koritarova at the presentation of the new Executive Director.

Milen Dimiev holds a Master's degree in Geodesy Engineering from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia. He has experience in the field of designing detailed spatial development plans, development of investment geodesy projects, creation of cadastral maps and registers, including specialized ones under the Black Sea Coast Development Act, deformation studies of structures and landslide areas. He has also worked in the field of consultancy services for expropriation procedures, monitoring of sea beaches.
