site.btaSocialists' Floor Leader Gutsanov: 20-Plus Parties Will Sign Coalition Agreement
BSP for Bulgaria floor leader Borislav Gutsanov told reporters here on Wednesday that over 20 parties will sign a coalition agreement on Thursday afternoon at Sofia's National Palace of Culture. Gutsanov added that such an agreement should have been signed more than 10 years ago.
Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) acting chair Atanas Zafirov told a briefing on September 1 at the party's headquarters in Sofia that 20 centre-left political entities will be signing a coalition agreement.
Gutsanov specified on Wednesday that the BSP National Council has decided that the party's ballots will be registered by Zafirov.
BSP for Bulgaria MP Georgi Svilenski, who on September 1 was expelled from the party by the National Council of the BSP, along with Korneliya Ninova, Ivan Chenchev and Krum Donchev, said on Wednesday that according to the justice system, the state and the law, BSP's legitimate chair is Ninova. He added: "Let us see what the Supreme Court of Cassation will decide on September 9."
