site.btaBulgaria Expects to Have 5 or More Helicopters to Fight Fires in 2025

Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov said that in 2025 this country will have at least five helicopters ready to put out fires, the press centre of the Ministry of Defence reported on Monday.

Admiral Eftimov attended a solemn ritual for the deployment of the Bulgarian military contingent to Kosovo.

A concept has been developed at the Defence HQ, which includes aircraft, but the military leadership's view is that they should be multi-purpose, Admiral Eftimov was quoted as saying.
