The Executive Bureau of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) decided to nominate two candidates for Bulgaria's European Commissioner - a man and a woman.

The nominees are Dragomir Stoynev and, if Bulgaria gets the Energy portfolio, Tsvetelina Penkova, the BSP press centre said on Wednesday. The Socialists insist that the Bulgarian nominations be discussed at an extraordinary session of the National Assembly, the press release said.
