site.btaSofia Airport Terminal 2 Road Upgrade May Cause Traffic Difficulties

A widening of the road to Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport may cause difficulties to traffic to/from the facility, the airport wrote on its Facebook page on Tuesday. The upgrade involves widening the entry and exit sections and introducing a controlled access system.

After work on the carriageway towards Terminal 2 is completed, it will continue on the carriageway towards the city. The entry and exit points of Terminal 2 will remain open, but special traffic control will be in place until the end of November.

The airport management asks passengers to take into account possible inconveniences when planning their trip to the airport.
