site.btaResort Town of Nessabar Celebrates Its Feast Day
The resort town of Nessebar, on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast, celebrates the day of its patron saint, the Holy Virgin, on August 15. The date for the holiday was set by a decision of the Municipal Council on August 4, 1992.
This year the festivities started on August 13 and will continue until August 17.
The town also marks the 70th anniversary of its designation as a museum, tourist and resort centre of international importance by a Council of Ministers decree.
