site.btaBulgarian Servicemen's Participation in NSATU Effort Authorized

The Council of Ministers authorized the participation of Bulgarian servicemen in NATO’s Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU) effort on the territory of NATO member states.

By adopting this decision, Bulgaria gives a clear sign of its commitment to support Ukraine, uphold Euro-Atlantic values and reaffirm its solidarity with the common efforts in support of international peace and security. Taking into account the proximity of the conflict to Bulgaria’s border and its importance for the security of Europe, Bulgaria’s contribution to NSATU is in line with the efforts of other Alliance Member States.
