A wildfire is burning in the Republic of North Macedonia close to the border with Bulgaria. The exact distance from the border is unknown, the fire department's press centre told BTA.
Blagoevgrad Regional Governor Georgi Dinev told BTA that the situation is being monitored by officials of the Southwest State Enterprise, who are reporting. Thus far, the fire has not spread into Bulgarian territory.
