The first group of 20 Bulgarian Interior Ministry officers have arrived in Paris to join the law-enforcement efforts during the Paris Games, the Interior Ministry said Wednesday. Bulgaria will be sending a total of 31 border police and five handlers of police dogs trained to find explosives.

The Bulgarian law-enforces will be part of an international force including another 1,900 police officers from 44 countries. They have been deployed at the Paris airports and on the border between France and Spain.

The Bulgarian K9 and their handlers will search the boats on the Seine, the sport facilities and others that will be used during the Paris Games by the athletes and the visitors.
