On Sunday, two planes with relevant crews and ground personnel from Spain will provide assistance in locating and extinguishing the fires in the territory of the country, said the Fire Safety and Protection of the Population General Directorate.

The forest firefighting module from Spain arrived on Saturday as part of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism assistance. 

Help to deal with the fires in Bulgaria has so far arrived from the Czechia, as well as from Turkiye.
