site.btaPresident Radev to Hand GERB-UDF Prime Minister-Designate Cabinet-Forming Mandate on July 1

Pursuant to Article 99 (1) of the Constitution, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will hand a cabinet-forming mandate to a prime minister-designate of GERB-UDF as the largest parliamentary group at 9:00 a.m. on July 1, 2024, the head of State's Press Secretariat said on Friday.

At the early parliamentary elections on June 9, the GERB-UDF coalition won the largest number of legislative seats, 68, and has the right to the first attempt to put together a government.
