GERB-UDF have invited Tuesday for talks three more of the parties that were elected to the new Parliament at the June 9 elections: BSP for Bulgaria, There Is Such a People and newcomer Velichie [Grandeur], said the GERB press office.

On Monday, GERB sent invitations for meetings to the parties and coalitions in the 50th National Assembly. The No1 political force in the legislature wants to discuss with them "the issues affecting the agenda of the society and the possibility of supporting a government that would share the responsibility for governing Bulgaria".

They expect to meet with BSP for Bulgaria at 11:00 a.m., with There Is Such a People at 13:00 and Velichie at 15:00.

The BSP Executive Bureau is expected to meet Tuesday morning to decide whether to accept the invitation. On Saturday, the party's National Council reaffirmed its decision not to support a government with a mandate from GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms.

Velichie leader Nikolai Markov said on Bulgarian National Radio that he finds "offensive" the invitation to meet a contact groups and added that "leaders meet leaders".

On Monday, talks were scheduled with Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and Vazrazhdane, but of these only MRF showed up.

The GERB-UDF negotiating team includes Denitsa Sacheva, Raya Nazaryan and Temenuzhka Petkova.
